  • resistance to temperatures;
  • 12 months warranty.

It is possible that a poorly performing heat exchanger may have an impact on safety, process quality and energy costs. Should this occur, it could result in costly downtime and significant production losses. One strategy that could help to avoid these issues and ensure uninterrupted, reliable operation is to replace gaskets and plates on a regular basis.

A plate heat exchanger is comprised of a number of different components, including rubber seals, gaskets and plates. These components play an essential role in preventing the mixing of the working fluids, which are exchanged for heat. The choice of gasket depends on a number of factors, including the type and temperature of the heat transfer medium.

The temperature range depends on the material used:

EPDM – ethylene propylene rubber
Nitrile (NBR) – nitrile rubber
EPDM HT – ethylene propylene rubber
VITON I – fluorine rubber

-15 to +160°C;
-20 to +160°C;
-30 to +175°C;
-10 to 200°C.

The following outlines the various methods for applying seals and gaskets to panels:

  • glued;
  • with a clip-on mounting system

The plates are manufactured from stainless steel using cold stamping. Their thickness typically ranges from 0.5mm to 0.7mm, with the exact measurement dependent on the pressure used. The type of engraving affects the efficiency of heat transfer.

Plate materials:

  • Stainless steel (316L);
  • Hastelloy C 276;
  • Titan Grate 1(G1) and others.
